Rifle and Crossbow Shooting
Section 21 of the 1968 Firearms Act prohibits the use of a firearm and ammunition by any person who has been convicted of a crime and sentenced to a term of imprisonment, or its equivalent for young persons, of 3 months or more. It is the responsibility of the Leader in Charge to ensure that ALL participants are compliant and have a signed parental consent form.

Orienteering
We have two orienteering courses on site. A Junior course which is all based on the top half of the site and the Senior Course which is a bit trickier and goes a bit further afield. There is also an Orienteering Course at Beacon Fell.

There are a lot of places to walk from Waddecar. Why not take a wander along the River Brock or scale the heights of Bleasdale, Parlick or Fairsnape.
