It takes a great many people to make Waddecar work. With around 100 volunteers on our register at any one time, we are very proud of each and every one of them.
The Waddecar Team is made up of mainly volunteers, plus a small team of paid staff. All the team are here to ensure the site runs smoothly and our guests get the very most out of their time at Waddecar.
Damian joined us at Waddecar in 2018 from Scout Adventures at Great Tower. He has worked in the Outdoor Industry for over 20 years. He brings with him a lot of experience that he is keen to share for the good of West Lancs Scouting.
Damian is District Commissioner in Kentdale District in Cumbria.
Mick joined the team at Waddecar in 2018 from his previous role at Myerscough College. Mick brings with him many skills and some of you will remember him from his time as the warden here at Waddecar 2002 – 2007.
Mick is an active Cub Leader in Preston.
Office Administrator – EwaEwa joined the Waddecar team in Spring 2023 and has lots of experience from retail Industry, with recent experience of working front of house. She also brings with her extensive experience in running a busy office.
Helen joined us in 2019 and comes from a professional finance background. She brings a lot of enthusiasm and experience to the team.
Helen is a Rainbow Leader in Preston.
