We’re excited to announce the launch of Waddecar Scout Group, a brand-new way for young people to enjoy Scouting at Waddecar Scout Activity Centre.
Opening on Sunday 11th October 2026, the group will meet once a month on a Sunday, from 10am until 3pm, giving young people a full day to get stuck into adventure, activities and the outdoors.
The group is particularly designed for young people who would love to join Scouts but are unable to attend a traditional weekly evening meeting. By meeting monthly during the daytime, we hope to make Scouting accessible to even more young people.
We’ll initially be opening three sections:
🐿️ Squirrels – ages 4–6
🦫 Beavers – ages 6–8
🐺 Cubs – ages 8–10½
With Waddecar as their meeting place, members will have an incredible outdoor playground right on their doorstep. From exploring the woods and learning new skills to games, challenges, crafts and adventures, there’ll be plenty packed into every meeting.
