Be Prepared – The Story of Scouting & Guiding Museum

One of a kind, The Story of Scouting and Guiding museum lives at the centre of Waddecar. For Scouting and Guiding groups this is a fantastic addition to your weekend camp. Warm and welcoming, the museum is home to hundreds of fascinating artifacts which tell the story of how Scouting and Guiding began, and how it has developed through the decades.

The museum’s primary aim is to share The Story with young people, but it is also an extensive resource for any researchers. The museum provides over 160 square metres of display and storage space. There are over 2000 books and publications in the library including all the known reference works.

The museum is open on Saturdays (Excluding Christmas Day) and with prior notice it may be possible to arrange visits by Groups at other days and times.
